Colonial Charters Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Longs, South Carolina.

Formerly known as Colonial Charters Golf Club, was first opened in 1988 and designed by John Simpson. The course was remodeled by Rick Robbins and reopened as Palmetto Greens Golf and Country Club in 2008. The course closed for a short time in the summer of 2013 and reopened in August 2013 with the reverting back to its original Colonial Charters Golf Club name.

Blue tees: par-72, 6,427 yards, 71.5 /132

White tees: par-72, 6,033 yards, 69.8 / 130

Gold tees: par-72, 5,454 yards, 68.6 / 122

Red tees: par-72, 4,764 yards, 67.8 / 111

#1 is a 500 yard par-5. This hole is intimidating because a large lake runs parallel the left side of the fairway all the way to the green.

#2 gives you a visual break in that it looks easy, just a straight away par-4 with no real challenge.

#3 wakes you up again with a second par-5.

#7 is a 278 yard par-4 and a good chance for a birdie. It is over water but not all the way. You will ask yourself what's it going to be - over the water or around or safe to the left? You must decide if the risk is worth the reward.

#9 and #10 are back to back par-3s.

The back nine tends to play easier fthan the front nine.

# 11 has a tree in the middle of fairway. If you land behind the tree your second shot will be blocked.

#15 has waterfalls.

#18 is a 424-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg right fairway, and requiring an uphill tee shot usually into the wind. The downhill approach shot will traverse a valley and onto an elevated green that is protected by deep sand bunkers on the front and right sides and a waste area off to the left. many consider this, the final hole to be the most difficult challenge on the course.
